2009 review of JustHost – User submitted reviews welcome!

Professional Hosting fro Just Host

I remember when JustHost started back in 2002. Immediately I saw that they had a really decisive plan on what kind of service they wanted to deliver – a very reliable, clean cut, while still very affordable web host.

In my opinion, JustHost is one of the greatest value web hosts consider the service level they offer, the amount of resources you get, and yet they still are under $3.99/m for a shared hosting plan.

Services Offered Review

Shared Web Hosting – They offer only 2 shared web hosting plans but they are pretty much the only thing you will need resource wise. They offer unlimited disk space and bandwidth…I’ll talk a little more about that later…

Free domain name for life: A pretty cool feature. But for life means for as long as you pay for your hosting plan lol.

Dedicated Servers – They also provided some nice dedicated servers sold through a sister company SingleHop. I don’t know very much about them just yet but they are on my list of web hosts to research. They have servers starting at $149/month.

1and1 Hosting: Can a top dog be a good hosting provider: User Reviews.

Hosting trusted by over 7 million customers

1&1 web hosting is probably one of the most interesting web hosting companies in my opinion. The reason is, is because I have seen them completely dominate a market in a few months time.

I remember years back they had this special that was like $1 for the first year and you get this ridiculous hosting plan. I know they were able to get hundreds of thousands of customers with that promotion alone.

Company Websites: www.1and1.com, www.1and1.co.uk, www.1and1.net

All in All: 1and1 Hosting A Good Company?

I have seen many mixed reviews from this company. Many good ones, many bad ones. This is a huge company so you can expect them to have tons and tons of customers. Obviously the more customers you have, the harder it is to manage and the more chances an issue can fall through the cracks. However, that said, I would say they are a good host and worth trying.

Are you a customer or prior client of 1&1?

TopWebHostingReviews can not exist without reviews from current and previous customers of web hosts. We are desperately in need of honest and full length reviews of 1&1 Internet. If you have some experience with them, please share it with our readers!

HostGator web hosting review – Dedicated servers, Reseller, and Shared web hosting

A HostGator Review

HostGator is a big player in the web hosting industry today. HostGator is also one of the handful of web hosts that actually own their datacenter and offices. Most web hosting providers own servers in another companies datacenter while HostGator has their own setup.

Since it’s startup in 2002 by Brent Oxley, HostGator has grown to be one of the biggest web hosting providers on the internet. Today they host over 1 million domain names. It takes a company with a lot of organization and care to handle such a large amount of customers. It becomes challenging to maintain a solid hosting business at around 2,000 customers. HostGator is able to do it with 1 million so that should be a testament to how their customers feel about their service.

Service Overview

Shared Web Hosting – Currently HostGator only supports Linux shared web hosting however they have plans for Windows shared hosting coming shortly.

For $8.95/m or $4.95/m at 2 year pre-pay you will get everything you need to operate your website. They offer a free Site Builder and a script auto-installation system. They offer a 45 day money back guarantee on all their plans.

Reseller Web Hosting

HostGator has an extensive reseller program run on Cpanel servers. Their reseller program offers enough resources for up to hundreds of clients. Their reseller program is an easy, and most of all cheap, way to getting extra cash flow from your clients.

For only $24.95/m you will get everything you need to appear as a professional web hosting customer. They even include a free enom domain name reseller system with signup. If you don’t know how or feel like building your website, you can simply select one of their pre-made hosting templates and go from there.

Dedicated Servers

Most web hosts have the resources to offer shared and reseller hosting, but there are only a few that can offer their own dedicated servers. These are real dedicated servers from HostGator and not a dedicated server they are reselling through another datacenter. They own and operate everything in the DC so there are no delays from going through the middle man.

While their servers are a little bit more expensive than some of their competitors, starting at $174.95/m, they definitely offer more as far as technical support and features are concerned.

Included with all of HG’s web hosting services are some nice features:

  • 24/7 technical support
  • 24/7 Phone and Live Chat
  • Free Control Panel Access
  • Free SiteBuilder Access
  • Thousands of free web design templates
