IX Web Hosting reviews for 2009. User submitted reviews.

IXWebHosting has been in the industry pretty much since web hosting became popular in early 1999. They have been around since the beginning so they have a huge advantage over a lot of the new competition today. That said, reviews on this company are 50/50. Some people swear by IX and others hate IX Web Hosting with a passion. It is a big company with so many customers so you can bet some issues and problems are going to fall through the cracks.
Their Website Hosting Services:
IX specializes primarily in shared web hosting as well as ecommerce hosting. They are an unlimited disk space and bandwidth provider which always makes me a little skeptical from the start. If you plan to go with IXWebHosting, I suggest you always keep your website constantly backed up as you never know when they will give you the boot. Eventually, when you site gets big enough, they will have to kick you off.
It doesn’t appear that they offer any sort of dedicated servers to upgrade to, so once you reach your limit you will have to find another company(although most people probably will never get close to their resource limits).

We need honest reviews of IX Web Hosting!
If you have ever bought hosting from IXWebHostnig, we need your reviews! Feel free to comment on their service below if you are a current or prior customer with them. Please include the website you have/had hosted in text box that asks for your URL below. Thank you for contributing!

Aplus.net 2009 User Submitted Reviews: Are They a Good Provider?

Aplus.net has been around pretty much since the dawn of the internet. Founded in 1992, aplus.net began offering internet solutions in 1995 and moved to the web hosting industry in 1998. Aplus.net was one of the few large online corporations to survive the dot com bubble burst.
Company Web URLs: www.aplus.net, www.aplus.com
They have a huge amount of services including:
Standard web hosting – They have a very strong shared hosting model with reasonable amounts of disk space and bandwidth. They aren’t your typical ‘offer as much resources you can while cramming the most customers on one server’ hosting company. $7.46 Hosting at Aplus.net
Dedicated Servers – Aplus.net offers some really good deals on dedicated servers – perhaps some of the lowest prices I have seen. I have read many reviews of their dedicated server service and overall, people tend to say they are great for dedicated server hosting. Dedicated Servers from only $49/mo.
Web Design Services – Great if you are a business and have no idea what you are doing as far as building websites is concerned, while they offer your basic template style look, they do all the work for you but it isn’t cheap by any means. However, great if you want a quick business website!
Domain Name Registration – Aplus offers your typical domain name registration for $9.99/year. A little more expensive than other registrars but if you are looking for a one stop solution, this is a good option.

Please Share Your Reviews of Aplus Web Hosting!
I have no first hand experience with Aplus.net, however out of all the reviews I have read, the majority of them seem to be in favor of Aplus Hosting. If you have experience or a review you would like to share, please comment below. Our readers will really appreciate your input!

1and1 Hosting: Can a top dog be a good hosting provider: User Reviews.

1&1 web hosting is probably one of the most interesting web hosting companies in my opinion. The reason is, is because I have seen them completely dominate a market in a few months time.
I remember years back they had this special that was like $1 for the first year and you get this ridiculous hosting plan. I know they were able to get hundreds of thousands of customers with that promotion alone.
Company Websites: www.1and1.com, www.1and1.co.uk, www.1and1.net
Services Offered:
1&1 Internet offers a ridiculous amount of services including:
- Domain Registration: They offer top level domain registration for only $6.99/year. A little bit cheaper than godaddy. Use this link for Special $6.99 Deal.

All in All: 1and1 Hosting A Good Company?
I have seen many mixed reviews from this company. Many good ones, many bad ones. This is a huge company so you can expect them to have tons and tons of customers. Obviously the more customers you have, the harder it is to manage and the more chances an issue can fall through the cracks. However, that said, I would say they are a good host and worth trying.
Are you a customer or prior client of 1&1?
TopWebHostingReviews can not exist without reviews from current and previous customers of web hosts. We are desperately in need of honest and full length reviews of 1&1 Internet. If you have some experience with them, please share it with our readers!

WebsiteSource Web Hosting Reviews. 2009 reviews by current and prior customers.
Hello All,
Welcome back to my web hosting company review blog. Today, I am going to review WebsiteSource. This is one company that I am writing a review about that I actually like.
Right off the bat, you will notice this company is not your typical ‘blind you with thousands of gigs of disk space and bandwidth for a few dollars a month’ hosting provider. WebsiteSource is a serious company and it is reflected in their hosting plans and prices.
If you want a high quality web hosting provider, Website Source is probably one of the best options hands down.
Founded in 1998, these guys have been a powerful played in the hosting industry. They offer a whole boat load of services inlcuding:
- Shared Web Hosting – Starting at $6.97 for 25GB of disk space and 50GB of bandwidth. As you can tell, they aren’t your typical unlimited everything host.
- VPS/Private Servers – WebsiteSource has a whole line of VPS services. These mini servers start at $30/m and provide 10GB of disk space and 300GB of transfer. They guarantee 2GB burstable bandwidth to your server as well as dedicated 512MB of server RAM to your account.
- Dedicated Servers – They offer your typical line of dedicated servers at about average industry standard prices. The one thing I don’t like about their dedicated servers is you have to complete a credit card authorization form before they activate it. This can be a pain in the butt sometimes.
- Reseller Plans - They are some real top of the line Plesk reseller hosting plans. They are more expensive than the competition, but just remember, you get what you pay for.
Overall, WebsiteSource is a company I am glad to write a review on. In fact, this is one of the few companies I refer people to that need a specific hosting solution. Definitely a good host is you need high availability, high quality web hosting space.
Are you a customer of WebSite Source Web Hosting? We need reviews!!
Please help out our readers by telling us about your experience with WebsiteSource. Whether good or bad, we want to hear them!

Web Hosting Pad 2009 reviews. Current customer review of WebHostingPad.com!

WebHostingPad is one of the newest hosting businesses that is gaining popularity today. I actually remember the inception of this company back when I spent a lot of time at WebHostingTalk.com.
WebHostingPad was formed by seasoned veterans of the web hosting industry in 2005. They founded WebHostingPad.com because they saw the lack of experienced companies that actually provide a good service. 2005 was a real turning point in the web hosting industry because a lot of companies were focusing on developing a series hosting solution, rather than starting a website hosting business for the sake of starting one.
A highly focused shared hosting service
This company only offers one web hosting plan but it is entirely scalable. They offer a shared web hosting plan with unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth starting at $4.95/m.
Note of caution:
I am always skeptical of unlimited web hosting services. Simply because the fact that a hard drive and internet connection are actual physical resources that can be used up. If you decide to go with WebHostingPad.com, I highly suggest you always backup your data and have a host on standby if you can afford it.
I don’t know how gun-ho they are when it comes for suspending a website and calling in the old ‘CPU limit exceeded’ clause.
Company Websites: www.webhostingpad.com, www.webhostingpad.net, www.webhostingpad.org
Are you a current customer of Web Hosting Pad?
As always, we are always looking for current customers of certain hosting companies to give their reviews of the service they received. Please help our readers out by telling us an honest review of WebHostingPad. If you are a prior customer, your comments are also welcomed!

HostRocket 2009 User Submitted Reviews

HostRocket, founded in 1999, is a multi million dollar corporation founded in Upstate New York. Over 10 years later, Host Rocket serves over 50,000 top websites world wide. They are also home to hundreds of Dedicated Servers and privately own their own datacenter.
Check out the HostRocket website here. This is one of the web hosts that I actually recommend to people. I don’t do that for many, believe me.
One thing I like about HostRocket is that they are one of the very few hosts that own and operate their own datacenter. This can become very handy because you can directly respond to any problem that may arise instead of counting on another set of staff or another company to resolve the problem for you.
Types of services offered:
- Shared Web Hosting – their current plan boasts unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth starting at $4.95/m. They also allow you to host unlimited websites on a single plan which is rare for a unlimited service provider.
- Reseller Web Hosting – They have been known to provide solid reseller hosting throughout the reseller web hosting community. For as little at $8.99/m, you can start your own web hosting biz.
- Dedicated Servers - Host Rocket provides entry level web servers for a real affordable price. Their most basic server is only $69.99/m.
Company Website: www.hostrocket.com, www.hostrocket.net, www.hostrocket.org
Click here to view the services HostRocket Offers.
Are you a current customer of Host Rocket Web Hosting?
We are always looking for honest reviews from current or previous customers of HostRocket. Please share with our readers your experience as it will help a lot of people find the right website hosting service for their web site.

MochaHost.com – The Online Central. Recent Review of MochaHost
MochaHost, founded in 2002, is structured around having knowledgeable employees who know the ins and outs of web hosting, server administration, and networking.
Seeing how the industry lacked a service that is ran by experienced people, the founders of MochaHost.com decided to make a web hosting service completely different than the norm. Their service is structured around high availability servers monitored by highly experienced system administrators who have experienced practically every problem that can go wrong on a server.
Types of web hosting offered:
Linux Shared Hosting
Mocha Host specializes in shared hosting. They currently offer unlimited disk space on a linux web server with all their plans. Starting at $3.00/m, these plans are perfect for users just getting started with webmastering.

They also have a strong line of Windows hosting options. These plans also come with unlimited features like disk space and bandwidth, and start at $4.75/m.

These VPS plans provide complete root access to the server, and have guaranteed RAM and CPU usage tied to the account.
