Web.com, an internet service provider, was founded during, what I like to call, the dawn of the web hosting age on 1999. Web.com is one of the very few hosting companies listed on Nasdaq – Others include Network Solutions, Enom, and Godaddy.
Since its creation, users have created over 15 million successful websites with their website building tool. This is one fact that I can say no other hosting company can compare with.

Lets take a look at the services they offer:
They offer a ridiculous amount of services – from web design, to marketing, to web hosting – they can provide you everything you need to start and run a successful website. If you have no experience with websites, no problem. They will fully manage every aspect of a web site – however it does come at a price.
They currently offer 2 types of web hosting services:
Shared Hosting -They offer your typical unlimited disk space and bandwidth web hosting plans – They have both Linux and Windows servers you can choose from. While I have seen many a good reviews of web.com, I am still highly skeptical of any web host that offers unlimited anything. Because of this, I highly recommend you always keep backups of your website, and have a plan in action just in case they decide to suspend you one day. E-Commerce Hosting - Their ecommerce plans are very expensive – start @ $59.95/m. If you want an all in one solution – AKA are a newbie – this plan will definitely provide everything you need. That said, if you actually know what you are doing, than do yourself a favor and buy a cheaper plan and setup all the ecommerce stuff on your own – this will save you a lot of money. Email Servers – If you have your own in house email servers that are costing you a fortune, their Microsoft Exchange email servers can really save you a whole lot of cash. Starting at $8.95/m, this is nothing compared to the hundreds/m businesses end up paying to have their own in house email.
