ReadySetConnect was founded in 2002, running under a different name - AlteraHosting. In 2003, they decided to change their name to ReadySetConnect because they thought it would make a better brand.
Ready,Set,Connect specializes in providing cheap web hosting while still maintaining a quality product. Their goal is to provide a service better than the competition and at a cheaper rate than the rest of the companies.
Type of web hosting offered:
Right now they seem to only offer shared web hosting, however I have seen them offering reseller plans in the past. Their current hosting plan rates are $4.99/m for 15GB of disk space and 200GB of data transfer. They run linux based servers that support PHP, Perl, Ruby, CGI, and offer MySQL databases with all their plans. Technical support is available 24/7 through help desk and live chat.

I run a blog and forum and they have always kept my account up even though i get quite a few visits sometimes. a great company imo.

they email me saying something about thinking my account was fraud. after we get it cleared up everything is OK now.
